Tote bag stag

Working on a new medium to print on, tote bags. Used my leaping stag vinyl lino in brown with Permaset medium ( washable textile paint) I am really happy with the way that the brown stag and the cream of the unbleached cotton look together. So tonight I will heat set them and test wash, then its on to Etsy with my 'rural spirit' bags.

First Snow Deer

The finished picture from my earlier post, named 'First Snow Deer' which will be available in my Etsy shop next week. I have loved the light snow flurries that we have had on Exmoor.

Winter pics

I have been working on a series of winter pictures. Thinking about the deer that leaped from the gorse bush on my recent Exmoor foray. Here I am using collage of some winter greens and berry reds.

Sketchbook studies

Some recent horse sketches in one of my handmade sketchbooks. I love to draw on different colours of recycled paper, this drawing was made on brown parcel paper, slightly textured and worn.
